Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position within our Retail pharmacy teams. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under a preceptor, supporting daily pharmacy operations and patient care.

You will learn through a structured training roadmap with KLEs and interactions with district leadership, while ensuring safe, accurate, and timely prescription handling and exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy required or actively enrolled.
• Must hold or be pursuing valid intern or technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support pharmacists and technicians in patient care.
• Assist with safe prescription fulfillment and customer service at pharmacy workflow stations.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and provide immunization and testing support as allowed by state law.
• Maintain inventory activities and assist in training and mentoring pharmacy staff.
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs as required.
