Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program focused on applying didactic learning to real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and leadership engagement to prepare for pharmacist responsibilities.

You will help ensure prescriptions are filled safely, provide care with empathy, and learn SOPs, while gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation.
• Provide empathetic customer service and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
• Assist with immunizations and other services where allowed by state law.
• Maintain inventory activities and support pharmacy operations.
