Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in the United States to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy operations within our retail stores. Under the direction of a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, support the pharmacy team, and help ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and with caring service.

This role emphasizes empathy, adherence to SOPs, and opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge as you prepare for a Pharmacist

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or acceptance.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure, or in the process of obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient care and counseling.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Attend training and complete required coursework.
• Travel to stores as needed to support market operations.
