Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in CVS Retail locations, applying classroom learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. You will assist with prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, immunizations, and SOP adherence, while gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will learn to provide compassionate service, maintain safety standards, and develop clinical and technical knowledge through a structured training

Qualifications

Enrolled in or admitted to an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program.
Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern/licensure as required
Availability for weekends and flexible shifts as needed
Strong customer service mindset and professional demeanor

Responsibilities

Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
Assist with vaccination services and other patient-care tasks where allowed.
Provide empathetic customer interactions and explain basic pharmacy processes.
Follow SOPs and maintain accurate documentation and records.
Assist with inventory tasks and communications with patients and prescribers
