Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the pharmacy team. Under licensed pharmacist supervision, you will support patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance while gaining hands-on experience in a Retail Pharmacy environment.

You will participate in inventory management, customer service, and workflow optimization, with a focus on compassionate patient care and professional growth within a leading health services company.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern/licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Provide patient safety and pharmacy services with attention to regulatory requirements.
• Support pharmacy operations, including inventory management and workflow.
• Assist with customer service and immunization readiness as regulations permit.
