Job summary

CVS Health in Hershey, PA is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy operations, supporting our pharmacy team and preparing for Pharmacist responsibilities. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap, perform immunizations and basic inventory tasks, and deliver patient-centered care with SOPs and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off
• Provide empathetic patient service, counsel when appropriate, and support immunizations and other services
• Assist with telephonic prescriptions and clarify prescriptions under state regulations
• Support training, coaching, and mentoring of pharmacy team members
• Complete basic inventory activities like stocking, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks
