Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams and apply didactic learning from school into real-world practice. Under supervision, you will follow SOPs, learn store operations, ensure safe and accurate prescription filling, and deliver caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred.
• Ability to become immunization certified; familiarity with immunization processes is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Provide empathetic customer service and professional patient interactions.
• Counsel patients and field medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Engage in inventory tasks and support training for pharmacy staff.
