Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world practice within our pharmacy team. You will work under a preceptor to complete a training roadmap, support daily pharmacy operations, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional activities while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, ensure label accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people, be friendly.
• Communication Skills: verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply, bottles and dosages.
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions.
• Physical Demands: mobility, lifting, reaching, typing.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
