Walgreens in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacists and the pharmacy team. You will learn to provide the best patient experience by assisting with prescriptions, patient counseling, and pharmacy policy compliance.

Under supervision, you will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and help with inventory and customer service. This role offers training and exposure to healthcare practice in a retail setting.

Formación

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and assist with products and services, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive experience.
• Under pharmacist supervision, assist in pharmacy practice, including entering, third‑party processing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions.
• Assist pharmacists in delivering patient care and health services within state scope of practice (e.g., counseling, MTM, BP).
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and follow QA policies.
