Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacist and team in delivering patient-centered care and a distinctive Walgreens experience. You will learn to use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist in clinical services under supervision.

You will engage customers, develop relationships, and follow policy and procedures to ensure accuracy and quality.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assist pharmacists and pharmacy team under pharmacist supervision in dispensing prescriptions.
• Support inventory management and cash handling per SOPs.
• Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhere to policy.
• Provide patient care services within state scope, e.g., blood pressure, MTM.
