Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacy intern in the United States to support the pharmacist and team in delivering an exceptional patient experience in compliance with regulations. Under supervision, you will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

You will participate in patient counseling and health services within the scope of practice, help with inventory, and ensure accurate dispensing and service excellence as part of the Walgreens team.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Pharmacy program.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team under supervision.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems per policy.
• Deliver patient care services within scope of practice as allowed.
• Support inventory management and store operations as needed.
• Report prescription errors and adhere to quality procedures.
