Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Granville Township, OH is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position in our retail pharmacy teams. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under the direction of a licensed pharmacist, gaining hands-on experience and preparing for a Pharmacist role.

You will follow SOPs, participate in immunizations, patient counseling, and medication safety activities, while expanding clinical and technical knowledge in a supportive, team‑focused

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs and increasing responsibility over time
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly and accurately
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring customer service to patients across channels
• Counsel patients, gather medical history information when appropriate under supervision
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by state regulations
• Maintain SOP compliance and participate in inventory and cycle count activities
• Travel to different stores in the market as needed to meet business needs

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Active enrollment or acceptance into pharmacy internship/licensure
