Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under supervision, contributing to safe and efficient prescription fulfillment while delivering compassionate patient care.

You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gain experience with SOPs, and have opportunities to develop clinical skills, including immunization support where permitted, across store operations and district exposure.

Qualifications

• Must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE‑accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap to apply didactic knowledge to real-world practice.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly, and accurately.
• Learn and apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements in daily tasks.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacist services where allowed by state regulations; educate patients when appropriate.
