Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our Retail pharmacy operations. You will apply classroom learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist, supporting efficient prescription processing and patient care.

You will complete a structured training roadmap, learn store, district, and regional operations, and gain hands-on experience while upholding safety, privacy, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure accurate, safe prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Follow SOPs, procedures, and policies to support daily operational tasks.
• Provide empathetic, professional patient interactions and counseling where appropriate.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
