Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our store pharmacy team. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice, supporting pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service.

You’ll train under a preceptor, learn SOPs, and gain experience across store operations while preparing for a Pharmacist role. This part-time internship emphasizes patient care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Required: enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college/school of pharmacy.
• Must have or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide excellent customer service and empathetic patient care at pickup and drive-thru.
• Counsel patients, obtain medical history when appropriate under supervision.
• Process telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers as allowed by state law.
• Support inventory activities and maintain SOPs and compliance.
