Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within CVS retail locations in Florida. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap to learn store, district, and regional operations while supporting pharmacy teams to fill prescriptions safely and promptly.

You will learn SOPs, participate in ongoing coaching, and gain hands-on experience in immunizations, patient counseling, and high-quality service in a caring, inclusive

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college enrollment required.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, and ensure prescription label accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply and required quantities for prescriptions.
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague interactions with appropriate action.
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and move items, and perform activities requiring fine motor skills.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
