Job summary

CVS Health in Florida is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic knowledge in real-world pharmacy operations. Under the direction of a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, assist pharmacists and technicians, ensure safe, accurate prescriptions, and deliver caring service to customers.

This part-time role emphasizes attendance, training completion, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure.
• Experience with customer service and teamwork is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Attend required training and complete it within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescription accuracy, timely fulfillment, and compassionate customer service.
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Follow SOPs and maintain high standards of patient safety and privacy.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care services where state regulations permit.
• Be flexible to travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
