Job summary

CVS Health in Florida seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams across the store, following a comprehensive training roadmap and focusing on safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care.

You will counsel patients, assist with immunizations when permitted, handle telephonic prescriptions, and learn clinical and operational skills under a licensed pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE accredited pharmacy program.
• Must have or be obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend training roadmap and develop skills for safe, accurate dispensing.
• Assist pharmacists with workflow across production, pickup, drive-thru and drop-off.
• Counsel patients and support immunization and other services where permitted.
• Handle telephonic prescriptions and interface with prescribers when allowed by state law.
• Support inventory activities and maintain patient safety and privacy.
