Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program designed to translate didactic learning into real-world practice within CVS stores. Under your preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap with experiences and leadership time to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

You will support pharmacy operations, ensure timely and safe dispensing, and demonstrate empathy in every patient interaction while learning store, district, and regional workflows.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college enrollment or admission to a PharmD program.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and procedures to support patient safety and service quality.
• Provide empathetic patient interactions and help with immunizations and related services where allowed.
• Complete routine inventory activities and support store operations.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by the business.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies.
