Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our retail stores. Under a licensed pharmacist, you will follow a structured training roadmap, learn SOPs, and support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care.

You will gain hands-on experience across store operations. The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and readiness for advancing to Pharmacist responsibilities, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on key learning experiences and SOPs.
• Support pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and assist with immunizations and other point-of-care services.
• Maintain inventory, cycle counts, and proper documentation under supervision.
• Demonstrate empathy, effective communication, and collaboration with the pharmacy team.
