Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescribe processing, and inventory management under pharmacist supervision. You will interact with patients, assist in prescription processing, and engage in third-party adjudication.

Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program with a state license, you will contribute to clinical services, product availability, and patient confidentiality while gaining hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service and assist patients in person and by phone.
Assist with product selection and obtain medication prices.
Process and fill prescriptions.
Use pharmacy computer system for data entry and third party adjudication; manage shelf stock and labeling.
Handle third-party functions and inventory management.
Update balance on hand and place orders; manage vendor relations.
Provide clinical services under a pharmacist's supervision.
