Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic knowledge in real-world practice, under a preceptor. You will follow a structured training roadmap, gain hands-on experience with the pharmacy team, and learn SOPs to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate service.

You will help with immunizations and other pharmacist-supported services while developing readiness for pharmacist responsibilities in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task and pivot quickly to meet patient needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: provide friendly service and support teammates.
• Communication Skills: interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: perform prescription calculations and dosing checks.
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague interactions thoughtfully.
• Physical Demands: be mobile and able to lift and reach as needed.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
• Voluntarily travel to stores across the market to support operations.
