Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in a retail setting and apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist.

You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, participate in dose calculations, counseling, immunizations, and ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while collaborating with store leadership and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task and pivot quickly as needed to meet patient and business needs
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs
• Communication Skills: use verbal and written communication effectively with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate prescription details, days supply, and dosing
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging interactions and escalate when appropriate
• Physical Demands: mobility, lifting, reach, and visual tasks
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
