Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to translate didactic learning into real-world practice within our retail pharmacy teams. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, SOPs, and engage with leaders to prepare for increased responsibility.

You will gain hands-on experience assisting with prescriptions, immunizations where allowed, patient counseling, and everyday pharmacy operations to support safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to assist Pharmacists and Technicians in patient care.
• Help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Assist with immunizations and other services where allowed by state law and training.
• Provide counseling and gather patient information to support optimal care.
