Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world settings within our pharmacy teams. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations, and assist with ensuring safe, prompt, and accurate prescription fulfillment.

You will learn to operate under SOPs, demonstrate empathy in patient interactions, and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture while preparing for a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations under a pharmacist's supervision to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service and assist patients with vaccinations and other services where allowed.
• Follow SOPs, participate in training, and assist in education and mentoring of staff.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
