Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy settings within our retail locations. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, follow SOPs, and contribute to safe dispensing, patient care, and service excellence.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across store operations, participate in immunization support where allowed, and travel between stores in the market as needed to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, ensure prescription safety and labeling accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people and respond to patient needs.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: use math for dispensing calculations and inventory control.
• Problem Resolution: identify and address patient or colleague issues as they arise.
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift, reach, and handle items as part of daily duties.
