Job summary

CVS Health in Newark, OH is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team. Under the direction of a preceptor you will apply didactic learning, follow SOPs, and participate in patient‑centered care to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate service.

You will rotate through production, pick-up, drive-thru, and immunization services, gaining exposure to store operations and district leadership while developing clinical and technical skills for a future Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians
• Assist with safe prescription fulfillment and patient counseling
• Provide immunizations and other patient services where allowed
• Maintain inventory and perform basic cycle counts and returns-to-stocks
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate care with empathy and accuracy
