Job summary

CVS Health in Newark, OH is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. You will work under a preceptor, complete a comprehensive training roadmap, and gain hands-on experience with a pharmacy team.

You will follow SOPs, assist with dispensing, and learn to provide empathetic, patient-centered care while ensuring safety and compliance across store operations and immunization services where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists and technicians manage patient health.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and patient interactions to ensure safe service.
• Contribute to immunizations and other services under supervision when allowed by state regulations.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
