Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our CVS Pharmacy team in Ohio. Under licensed pharmacist supervision, you will contribute to patient safety, pharmacy operations, and customer care while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will support inventory, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance, while developing professional skills and knowledge through ACPE-accredited program enrollment. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

Accepted into or actively enrolled in ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
0-3 years relevant work experience.
Must possess or be in process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
Regular and predictable attendance including weekends.

Responsibilities

Lead with patient safety and quality assurance within a Retail Pharmacy environment.
Support Pharmacy Professional Practice and regulatory compliance.
Assist with inventory management and workflow (excluding final prescription verification).
Provide excellent customer service and care to patients.
