Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in Ohio to translate didactic learning into real-world practice under a preceptor. You will follow a structured training roadmap with Key Learning Experiences, gaining hands-on experience in a pharmacy team, operations, and patient care at CVS locations.

You will assist in safeguarding patient safety, provide compassionate service, and learn through direct interaction with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support pharmacists and technicians in patient health and safety
• Assist pharmacy team with safe prescription fulfillment and customer service
• Counsel patients and obtain necessary medical information under supervision
• Take telephonic prescriptions and facilitate changes under state regulations where allowed
• Maintain inventory and support store leadership with pharmacy operations
• Learn and apply best practices and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture
