Job summary

CVS Health is looking for a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy settings within our retail stores. You will work under a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap and support the pharmacy team in dispensing, counseling, and providing immunization services.

You will learn store, district, and regional operations while ensuring patient safety, SOP compliance, and excellent care.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment is required.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required by state.
• Pharmacy intern training will be conducted under a licensed pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and technicians in workflow at the store pharmacy.
• Support immunizations and patient counseling as directed by the pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and excellent patient service.
• Participate in training roadmap to gain hands-on experience in store operations.
• Travel between stores in the market to support business needs.

Education

Valid intern/technician licensure (in progress)
