Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world practice within our retail pharmacy teams. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gain hands-on experience across pharmacy workflows, and support safe, accurate dispensing while delivering caring service to patients in-store.

You will progress through KLEs, participate in cycle counts and inventory tasks, and travel to other stores in the market as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled or accepted to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Maintain patient safety by accurately confirming prescription information and labeling.
• Provide customer service in a friendly manner and assist pharmacy team as needed.
• Assist with immunizations and other pharmacy services where allowed by state law.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
