Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for Pharmacy Innovation to deliver multiple concurrent programs, from ideation to post-implementation monitoring.

You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to plan, budget, and refine projects across the innovation lifecycle. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, coordinating matrices, analyzing processes, and communicating progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• Minimum of five years demonstrated performance in healthcare administration, operational management, or other related area.
• Three years of Project Management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Demonstrated skills in developing and achieving project scope, costs, planning, and meeting project deliverables.
• Demonstrated skills in forming and fostering high performance, cross-functional teams.
• Very strong analytical and business process development skills.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• In-depth knowledge of application delivery, management structures, and reporting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates matrixed team(s) activities to manage and implement assigned and interrelated Pharmacy Innovation projects and programs through ideation, delivery, and refinement.
• Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to Pharmacy Innovation projects and process improvement initiatives.
• May lead the project team(s) in determining customer requirements and translating requirements into operational plans.
• May represent Pharmacy Innovation for project approval meetings, ensures appropriate prioritization of assigned projects.
• Tracks and keeps current a log of the Pharmacy Innovation and Pharmacy Services pipeline initiatives and market developments.
• Educates and plans trainings for others regarding project processes and tools used.
• Acts as lead and contact for projects company-wide.
• Responsible for monitoring reports of the Pharmacy Innovation project portfolio.
• Enhances communication channels for Pharmacy Innovation priorities cross divisionally.
• Meets with management to review project scope/progress and resolve issues.
• Establishes metrics for measuring key project criteria and negotiates proposals.
• Selects and applies appropriate tools to estimate and plan work.
• Fosters a positive environment of continuous process improvement.
• Monitors and reports on progress of high impact problems.
• Maintains integrity and privacy in line with corporate policies.
