Job summary

Walgreens Boots Alliance is seeking a pharmacist-intern level professional to support post-graduate pharmacy activities under licensed supervision in Jefferson City, Missouri.

You will counsel customers, assist with compounding, dispensing and drug therapy reviews while helping optimize pharmacy operations and patient experience. Immunizations and preventive health services may be part of the duties, with emphasis on compliance and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
• FPGEC certification is required for licensure consideration.
• Intern permit or certification may be required by state boards.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days.
• Certified Immunizer or plan to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects and interactions under supervision.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification.
• Dispsenses medications accurately and reviews prescriptions per regulations and policies.
• Supports pharmacy workflow, assists with inventory management and KPI review.
• Engages in immunizations and preventive health services when applicable.
