Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date in position.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire per district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on proper medication use, potential interactions and side effects, while protecting patient privacy.
• Performs dispensing, drug therapy reviews and medication management in line with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Supports efficient pharmacy workflow, assists in inventory, and helps optimize pharmacy financials and customer experience.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and supports system enhancements for productivity.
• Engages with healthcare providers, community outreach and maintains strong relationships with local medical staff.
