Job summary

Walgreens Boots Alliance is seeking a Pharmacist Intern or equivalent to support post-graduate pharmacy activities under direct supervision. Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure within 45 days of intern hours (state requirements)
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days
• Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy if required

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and safety.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets and accurately dispenses prescribed medications.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and supports pharmacy workflow and inventory management.
