Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited University outside the United States.
• FPGEC certificate.
• Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days of intern hours.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy considerations.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications accurately per regulations and policies.
• Assists in opening/closing the pharmacy and supports workflow, inventory, and asset protection.
• Participates in community events and uses technology to support pharmacy staff and customers.
