Walgreens Boots Alliance seeks a post-graduate pharmacy associate to perform supervised pharmacy activities, counsel customers on medication usage, and support immunizations and preventive health services. You will contribute to compounding, dispensing, review and verification within regulatory guidelines and company policies.

The role supports a pharmacy team by ensuring efficient workflow, optimizing inventory and enhancing customer experience while preparing for licensure under supervision.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited university outside the United States.
• FPGEC certificate required.
• Intern permit/certificate issued by Board of Pharmacy.
• Willingness to obtain licensure within 45 days of intern hours.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and generics.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and review workload impact.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and Good Faith Dispensing; supervise opening/closing and shift changes.
• Support pharmacy systems, insurance claims processing and 3rd party audits.
• Conduct immunizations and preventive health services as needed.

Ausbildung

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited University outside the United States

Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC)

Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy

Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days of intern hours

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
