Job summary

Right Dose Pharmacy, part of the Guardian family, seeks a Pharmacy Technician in Ankeny, IA to enter/refill prescriptions with speed and accuracy. You will communicate with customers by phone, respond promptly to needs, and support a fast-paced team delivering quality care.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, triaging faxes, verifying notes and dosages, and maintaining documentation within pharmacy systems. State licensure requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy technician license/certification/registration required by state; national certification preferred (PTCB).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately to eliminate dispensing errors.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Verify notes, cycle fill coding, and calculate/verify correct dosages.
• Demonstrate caring, understanding and courtesy when responding to customer calls.
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and processing when needed.
