Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is seeking a Pharmacy Data Technician for on-site, full-time work. You will enter and process prescriptions, communicate with customers by phone, and support a fast-paced pharmacy operations team.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a Pharmacy Technician license/certification, and a National Certification is preferred. Weekend and overtime hours may be required as part of varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 2+ years of related experience; advanced computer skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Route calls and respond courteously to customer inquiries.
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, profiling, and processing prescriptions as needed.
