Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy Services Management, LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Ankeny, IA to enter and process prescriptions, triage fax orders, and ensure accurate dosing and notes in the system. The role requires state-certified tech credentials, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

You’ll support doctors’ offices on refills, learn the pharmacy systems, and assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and cycle processing as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required per state.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration per state; National Certification preferred (PTCB).

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescription.
• Respond to customer calls with care and courtesy.
• Complete prescriptions assigned for processing within the shift.
• Coordinate with doctors' offices on refills.
• Develop proficiency in all pharmacy systems used.
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and processing cycles as needed.
