Job Responsibilities
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practices, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.
Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
- Recommends additional products and assists customers in locating items.
- Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and assists in product placement and inventory management.
- Supports pharmacy tasks such as entering patient data, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and assisting pharmacists with workflow.
- Reports prescription errors promptly and complies with pharmacy policies, including Good Faith Dispensing and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
- Handles non-urgent phone calls, processes third-party claims, and supports inventory activities.
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products and maintains store displays and cleanliness.
- Provides photo area services and web order fulfillment.
- Assists with store maintenance and adheres to company policies, fostering respectful coworker relationships.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
Additional Requirements
- Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
