1. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
2. Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.

Customer Experience

1. Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
2. Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

1. Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
2. Recommends products and assists customers in locating items.
3. Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and assists customers in the OTC aisle.
4. Keeps store areas clean and organized, takes inventory, and maintains records.
5. Supports pharmacy activities, including entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting with workflow.
6. Reports prescription errors immediately and complies with pharmacy policies and codes of conduct.
7. Handles telephone inquiries not requiring pharmacist attention, including calls to physicians.
8. Processes third-party prescription claims and performs clerical duties as assigned.
9. Supports pharmacy inventory management and maintains knowledge of asset protection techniques.
10. Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
11. Constructs and maintains displays, completes resets, and assists with product placement and stock rotation.
12. Maintains knowledge of store systems and equipment.
13. Provides customer service in the photo area and handles web pick-up responsibilities.
14. Assists with store maintenance and adheres to company policies, fostering respectful relationships with coworkers.
15. Completes assignments and tasks as directed.

Training & Personal Development

1. Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
2. Stays informed about healthcare and pharmacy developments.
