Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.).

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
• Recommends items for sale and suggests trade-up or companion products.
• Handles cash register transactions, including processing payments, refunds, exchanges, and assisting customers in locating products.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, manages inventory, and assists with merchandise pricing and stocking.
• Supports pharmacy operations by entering patient and drug information accurately, assisting with prescription filling, verifying medications, and monitoring for interactions.
• Reports prescription errors immediately and adheres to pharmacy policies and quality standards.
• Handles non-urgent pharmacy calls, processes third-party claims, and performs clerical duties as directed.
• Supports inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals, and maintains knowledge of asset protection procedures.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products and maintains store displays and product placement per policies.
• Provides photo services and manages web order pick-ups.
• Maintains store cleanliness and appearance, and fosters respectful coworker relationships.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
• Stays informed about healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
