Responsibilities

1. Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
2. Register sales, provide courteous checkout service, and assist customers proactively.
3. Assist pharmacists under supervision in pharmacy practice, using pharmacy systems to manage patient and drug information, and process prescriptions.
4. Engage with customers, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience.
5. Recommend products, handle transactions, maintain store cleanliness and organization, and support inventory management.
6. Support pharmacy operations, including prescription filling, error reporting, and compliance with legal and company policies.
7. Participate in store displays, stock rotation, and maintain store appearance.
8. Provide customer service in various store areas, including photo services and web order pickups.
9. Assist with store maintenance and uphold respectful coworker relationships.
10. Complete special assignments as needed.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification or relevant state certification.
• Attend training, complete continuing education, and stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer candidates with retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English (except Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible schedules.
• Preferred: 6 months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, math skills, computer skills, inventory knowledge, PTCB certification.
