Job Description
The role involves providing a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including courteous checkout service, assisting pharmacists under supervision, and maintaining store operations.
Customer Experience
- Engage with customers and patients, greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Model and share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers.
- Recommend products and assist with locating items.
- Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and process returns and exchanges.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, manage inventory, and assist with merchandise pricing.
- Support pharmacy operations by entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy.
- Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to pharmacy policies and codes of conduct.
- Handle telephone inquiries and process third-party prescription claims.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving pharmaceuticals.
- Ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
- Construct and maintain displays, assist with store resets, and manage product placement.
- Support the photo area services and web order pickups.
- Maintain store cleanliness and appearance, and uphold company policies and respectful coworker relationships.
- Complete assigned tasks and special projects as needed.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintain PTCB certification and participate in ongoing training and education.
Additional Requirements
- Fluent in English (excluding Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
