Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

1. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service to customers.
2. Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in practicing pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations. Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

Customer Experience

1. Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
2. Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits, to deliver a delightful customer experience.

Operations

1. Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
2. Recommends items for sale and suggests trade-up or companion products.
3. Processes transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges. Assists customers in locating products.
4. Maintains store cleanliness, inventory, and records. Checks in and prices merchandise as directed.
5. Supports pharmacy tasks: entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting with workflow.
6. Reports prescription errors immediately and adheres to pharmacy policies, including the Pharmacy Code of Conduct and Good Faith Dispensing policies.
7. Handles non-urgent phone calls, including those to physicians.
8. Processes third-party prescription claims and performs clerical duties as assigned.
9. Supports inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals. Files claims for discrepancies.
10. Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
11. Creates and maintains displays, completes resets and revisions.
12. Assists with food and product placement, stock rotation, and restocking.
13. Operates store systems and equipment efficiently.
14. Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photos and promotional products.
15. Manages web order pickups and deliveries.
16. Maintains store cleanliness and appearance.
17. Follows all policies, maintains respectful relationships, and completes assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

1. Maintains PTCB certification and/or state registration through training and continuing education.
2. Attends training, completes required courses, and stays updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements: Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico), willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
