Job Responsibilities
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service to customers.
- Assists the pharmacist under supervision, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and processes prescriptions in accordance with regulations.
Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommends products and assists with locating items.
- Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges; maintains cleanliness and merchandising of shelves.
- Supports pharmacy activities such as entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting in workflow management.
- Reports prescription errors immediately and complies with company policies and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
- Processes third-party prescription claims, manages inventory, and ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
- Assists in constructing store displays, managing food and product placement, and maintaining store appearance.
- Provides photo services, web order fulfillment, and supports store maintenance and cleanliness.
- Adheres to all policies, maintains respectful relationships, and completes assigned tasks.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
Additional Requirements
- Fluent in English (except Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
