1. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service to customers.
2. Assists the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, in accordance with regulations.

Customer Experience

1. Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
2. Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits, to deliver a memorable customer experience.

Operations

1. Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
2. Recommends products and accessories, and assists in locating items.
3. Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, exchanges, and cash handling.
4. Maintains cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and record-keeping standards.
5. Supports pharmacy operations, including entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting pharmacists with workflow.
6. Reports prescription errors immediately and complies with pharmacy policies and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
7. Handles non-urgent calls, processes third-party claims, and performs clerical duties as assigned.
8. Supports pharmacy inventory management and asset protection activities.
9. Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products like tobacco and alcohol.
10. Constructs and maintains displays, assists with product placement, and stock rotation.
11. Operates store systems and equipment proficiently.
12. Provides photo services, including digital passport photos and promotional products.
13. Manages web order pick-ups and maintains store cleanliness and appearance.
14. Follows all policies and procedures, fostering respectful coworker relationships, and completes assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

1. Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
2. Stays informed of healthcare and pharmacy developments.

• Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
