- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, in accordance with regulations.

- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance. Resolves issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits, to deliver a memorable customer experience.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, and efficient service.
- Recommends additional products and assists customers in locating items.
- Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and assists customers in the OTC aisle when possible.
- Keeps shelves clean and organized, takes inventory, and maintains records.
- Supports pharmacy duties such as entering patient info, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and assisting with workflow.
- Reports prescription errors immediately and follows company policies regarding pharmacy safety and conduct.
- Handles non-urgent phone calls, processes third-party claims, and supports inventory management.
- Ensures compliance with laws for regulated products and maintains store displays and product placement.
- Provides photo services, web pick-up support, and assists with store maintenance and cleanliness.
- Maintains respectful coworker relationships and completes assigned tasks.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
- Fluency in English required (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
